Network checks: choose the right tool for the question

Find your public IP, test IPv6, inspect routing, and understand request headers or browser traits. Each tool observes a different destination or protocol, so interpret results in context.

What do you need to check?

What is my public IP?

See IPv4, IPv6, approximate location and ASN.

Different services may see different exits; location comes from an IP database.

My IP Address

Can IPv6 connect?

Query IPv4/IPv6-only probes and compare this site’s connection.

A failed request alone does not prove IPv6 is absent.

IPv6 Connectivity Test

Is split routing behaving as expected?

Compare reference probes with target-site exits and reachability.

Browser cross-origin rules prevent some sites from exposing their exit IP.

Egress & Split-Tunnel Check

Which browser traits are visible?

Calculate rendering, audio, font and environment signals locally.

A combined hash is not a unique identity or risk score.

Browser Fingerprint Check

Which request headers were sent?

Inspect the UA, language and Client Hints received here.

Sensitive fields are omitted; proxies may modify headers.

HTTP Request Headers

What does a public API return?

Set an HTTP method, headers and body, then inspect the response.

The endpoint must allow browser cross-origin access.

HTTP Request Builder

Which messages arrive over a live connection?

Connect to a WebSocket service and inspect send, receive and close events.

The connection goes directly to the server you enter.

WebSocket Tester

Exit IP versus device address

These tools observe the public exit seen by sites or probes, not your device’s local address. Proxies can produce different exits by destination.

Reachable is not always usable

A successful request shows that a target responded this time. Login, account access, challenges and service status can still affect use.

What browsers can observe

Cross-origin and privacy policies limit observations. An unreadable exit or fingerprint signal should be marked unknown, not treated as proof of safety.

For Claude-specific checks, continue with the Claude Network & IP Check, which compares Claude domains and supported regions.
