Egress & Split-Tunnel Check

Compare reference and site-specific exits to inspect routing and IPv6 behavior.

Egress & Split-Tunnel Check

Compare reference probes with the exits observed by target sites.

Requests originate in this browser. The Fastsoft echo returns only the IP seen at Cloudflare’s edge for this request and does not store the result. Other probes and sites see the exit IP used for their requests.

Reference probes

These probes contact different addresses. Different exits may indicate different routes; a probe name alone does not identify a direct or proxy route.

Label route references

Choose the direct and proxy exits based on your own configuration. Until then, the page shows observations without claiming split routing works.

Site checks

Only a readable echo on a site’s own domain confirms its exit. A regular HTTPS request only indicates that a response arrived.

Add a custom site

Enter a public domain. The tool tries its Cloudflare trace, then falls back to an HTTPS reachability observation. Up to 8 domains are saved locally.

Suggested rules

Generate Clash/Mihomo rules only from your expected routes. Adjust proxy group names to match your client.

The actual exit cannot be read for arbitrary sites, and DoH answers do not reveal the IP your browser actually connected to. CORS restrictions, extensions, certificates or network errors can all cause an unknown result.

IPv4, IPv6 and IP-address probes contact different targets. Exit differences may arise from domain rules, IP rules or address families. They do not prove proxy safety or a DNS leak.

Fastsoft / Guide

Practical guide

This browser contacts Fastsoft’s Cloudflare exit echo, an IP-literal echo at 1.1.1.1, IPv4/IPv6-only probes and popular sites. A site’s exit is measured only when its own Cloudflare trace can be read cross-origin.

How to use it

  1. Start the check and inspect four reference probes and each site result.
  2. If you know your direct and proxy exits, label their IPs under Route references, then set expected routes for sites to inspect measurable mismatches.
  3. Optionally add custom domains, apply the common China split-routing preset or copy Clash/Mihomo rules generated from your expectations.

Example

If Claude’s trace shows exit A while Fastsoft sees exit B, those requests used different exits. Verify which is direct and which is proxied before deciding whether Claude followed your intended rule.

What to know

Sites without a readable echo provide only an HTTPS response observation, not their observed exit. IPv4, IPv6 and IP-address probes contact different targets; differences alone do not prove IPv6 or DNS leaks or proxy safety. The Fastsoft echo does not store results; custom domains and route expectations stay in this browser.

Common question

Why does a site show “Reachability only” without an exit IP?

A browser cannot read the client IP seen by an arbitrary site. Without a readable cross-origin echo from that site, an HTTPS response is only a reachability clue.
