Practical guide
Read Cloudflare trace on three Claude domains from this browser, compare exits, regions and routing, and search the current Help Center and newer policy region lists.
How to use it
- Start the check and wait for traces from the three Claude domains and a reference site.
- Review the IPs, country codes and consistency, then compare the two official region lists.
- Optionally run extended checks for IPv4/IPv6, WebRTC and browser settings, and save an exit locally for later comparison.
Example
If all three Claude domains show one IP while this site shows another, these requests may be split routed. The Claude domains still share the same exit for this run.
What to know
This does not sign in to Claude or call an authenticated API. Cross-origin rules, browser policy and routing may prevent observations. The newer 185-region policy is marked effective November 12, 2026; the current Help Center lists 176. ASN does not reliably classify VPNs or proxies, DNS leaks need a dedicated probe, and results do not guarantee account or API access.
Common question
Why can trace work when Claude sign-in fails?
A trace response shows only that Cloudflare answered this browser request. Account state, service incidents, regional rules and human verification can still affect sign-in.
