Browser request headers

See common headers on this request as received by this site’s Cloudflare Pages endpoint.

The endpoint does not store request data and returns only selected ordinary headers. Cookies, authorization, IP forwarding headers and Referer are omitted. The browser, proxy or Cloudflare may modify headers.

Fastsoft / Guide

Practical guide

Inspect ordinary HTTP headers received by this site’s Pages Function to debug User-Agent, language and Client Hints values.

How to use it

  1. Choose View headers to send one GET request to this site.
  2. Inspect returned fields; unsent fields do not appear.
  3. Change a browser setting and read again to compare what the server received.

Example

After changing preferred languages, read Accept-Language again to check the order received by the server.

What to know

Only selected fields are returned. Cookies, authorization, Referer and IP forwarding data are excluded. Proxies and CDNs may change headers. The endpoint stores no request data and runs only on Pages.

Common question

Why is a header missing?

The browser may not have sent it, or the field may be excluded from the safe echo list.
